What A Successful Life Looks Like
Get connected with your purpose
What drives your actions? What fuels your passion? Why do you do the things you do in your life, and why do you live the way you live now? The great WHY, the purpose of our choices and actions. It encloses our work, our relationships, and our approach to living our lives. It wraps around everything we do. It means living our lives in an intentional way.
Our why is what keeps us going when life gets tough. Our why gives life extra meaning and richness to our life.
It is essential to find out for yourself the reason you want to get out of your bed in the morning, your reason to live, so that you can start channeling your life energy. Breathwork and meditation greatly help you to connect with the answer to this question and live in line with it.
When you have lost your way and are struggling with your why, you can ask yourself the following questions:
– Where am I’m trying to go, from where I am right now?
– What brings joy to my life and gets me excited?
– What do I want more and less in my life?
We all have the same number of hours in a day. Why do some of us run around, constantly stressed, complaining we “don’t have time,” while others seem to approach life in a relaxed and happy state but still get plenty done?
Even though we all have obligations and responsibilities, in the end, it comes all down to choices.
Time is a finite resource; once spent, it’s gone. We can’t get time back, but we can be selective and intentional with the time we have.
Many of us take our health for granted until we come to a crossroad in life where we have no option but to make a change.
We might not see the importance of exercise and then wonder why our body is complaining when we have to do stairs.
We should be kinder to ourselves and implement exercise in our day-to-day life, yoga, gym, going for a walk, bodyweight exercises, etc… Do not forget that our bodies are made to move 😉
Pay attention to your eating, eat healthily and take the time for each meal, set an intention and discover all the flavors and nutrition you fuel your body with.
Taking care of our body while doing exercise, eating well, and making time to decompress/destress can all help our mental health and general feelings of well-being.
Our loved ones, family and friends are what really add spark to our lives. Make sure you keep making time to foster these relationships. Being busy is fine if we do not forget the things and people that mean the most to us throughout the busyness of life.
Purpose, time, health, and loved ones. These are truly the things that make us richer and make life more complete.
